Collaboration
Throughout the year the Pacific Alumni Association offers student programs to help connect students with alumni and prepare them for the post-graduate transition. New this year, is the involvement of the Student Alumni Association, the Tiger PAC, in these programs.
Welcome Weekend
Alumni and Pacific Alumni Association staff members welcome new students to campus! Volunteers assist with moving freshmen and transfer students into their dorms, quiz new students on Pacific facts, hand out prizes at TigerNights and present freshmen with official Pacific pins after Convocation.
Student Leadership Luncheon
Once a year the Pacific Alumni Association hosts a lunch for student leaders with members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Students are recognized for their contributions to the Pacific community and encouraged to stay involved with Pacific after graduation.
Official Ring Tradition
In conjunction with the Division of Student Life and the University Bookstore, the Pacific Alumni Association is sponsoring a new Pacific Ring Tradition. Students will have the opportunity to purchase an official Pacific ring, which will be presented during a University ceremony. The ring was unveiled during Fall 2009. More information to follow!
