Message from the Co-Chairs

Welcome to the Black Alumni Club webpage!  We celebrated two successful reunions in 2006 and 2008 and we are looking forward to many more activities and opportunities to get involved.  In fact, we are hoping to put together another successful reunion event in 2011! Wherever you live, you can be a part of the Black Alumni Pacific Club!  Hope to see you soon,

Rickey Boyland `79 and Marshea (Jones) Pratt `93

Black Alumni Pacific Club Naming Gift Challenge

The Black Alumni Club has pledged to collectively raise $75,000 to name the Executive Suites in the Alex and Jeri Vereschagin Alumni House. Your donation in any amount will help us achieve our goal of naming a room in the Alumni House after a prominent black alumnus, alumna, or University faculty or staff member.

As you may already know, pledges of $1,000 or more automatically earn a personalized brick in the Alumni Plaza displaying the donor's name, class year and affiliation. In order to make participation more accessible to everyone, pledges may be made over a period of five years! This makes a pledge of $1,000 more affordable and makes our goal of $75,000 entirely within our reach!

Gifts of any amount are welcome and needed in support of the Black Alumni Pacific Club's challenge. If you decide you can make a gift of $1,000 or more, be assured that in addtion to earning your personalized brick, your gift will also be counted toward the Black Alumni Pacific Club challenge effort.

Thank you for considering this request! To donate online and/or vote for your choice for the name of the Alumni House Executive Office Suite, click the links below.

Sincerely,
Norma (Clayton) Ivy '74, Rickey Boyland '79, Pam Gibbs '92, Marshea (Jones) Pratt '93.
